Thank you for showing us those beautiful villages that as tourists in Italy we wouldn’t have visited. My favourite experience was the day the village of Boccassuolo made lunch for us.  Coupled with that is the experience of meeting members of your family and their generosity.  I need to add I enjoyed my walks with Silvio, particularly the day we went up the bell tower with beautiful Nico.

Thank you for having put together some of your highlights from our lovely Tuscany trip. Lots of memories keeps flooding back. I’ve used the wonderful balsamic vinegar with friends the other day. Great combination with some of the olive oil from Margaret River. Apart from the plein air and great cultural experience the trip provided, we have made friends with a wonderful group of people and are continuing the connection and friendship in Perth. Also, wanted to let you know, that my parcel, which took a bit of organizing and effort, has arrived!!! Please let Silvio know and thank him again for his patience and help.

The location, which is obviously not dominated by tourists is a BIG PLUS for this tour.  The places chosen to visit were wonderful such as the buildings of great age, the locations and the cheese factory.  The Italian food provided was excellent. This  tour is dominated by the personality, organisation and knowledge of the Italian culture of the leader Janette.  She does this so well,  This is what makes the tour the success it is.

We had a wonderful time in Italy with you and thought the trip outdid all our expectations. The hotels were excellent, the group dynamics worked brilliantly and, as always, your planning and attention to detail were superb.

I really enjoyed my time with you & the group and I would have no hesitation in recommending Paesano Tours to my friends… It was such a pleasure to visit the hill towns in the Frignano region & learn all about the remarkable history… the culture and above all the food & wine! I hope I can put to paper some of the great tips Ev gave me & I really enjoyed my first time at “plein air” painting/sketching… it really was a stress free holiday & it is a credit to you for organising such a memorable 2 weeks… with special thanks to Ev & Silvio who were always available for advice & who made sure I didn’t wander off in the big cities!’

Janette your history knowledge of the areas we travelled was beyond my imagination, it added so much more to my trip and your care and concern as to our welfare, comfort, safety and mostly enjoyment of this trip from what I hear from others who have done similar trips, is beyond compare. I am so grateful that this is the tour I was able to go on.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on your wonderful tour threw the mists of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. The weather became part of the adventure, not a distraction. The detail you put into every aspect of the journey, not to mention the seemingly endless procession of aunts, uncles and cousins who added to the feeling that we were special. I felt I learned a lot about all aspects of my painting and sketching. Regina is a great teacher and an inspiration. Yvonne found Silvio to be great company who made every walk that much more interesting. Some of the places they walked to would have made great painting subjects judging by Yvonne’s photos.

I thought the whole trip was good value for money and that Janette and Marina have done an excellent job, especially as it’s their first trip. They have been courteous, friendly and helpful.
